The individual in this role will lead end-to-end video production, including planning, editing, and final delivery for marketing campaigns, brand content, and client projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing raw footage, editing and assembling sequences, applying color grading, and incorporating motion graphics and visual elements to create engaging stories. The Senior Video Editor will collaborate closely with the creative, marketing, and production teams to ensure that all video content aligns with brand guidelines and project objectives. This role may also involve mentoring junior editors, maintaining organized project files, and staying current with industry trends, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, including handling raw footage, timelines, and post-production workflows.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading, with the ability to ensure visual consistency and enhance the overall look and feel of video content.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower thirds, animations, and other visual elements that support storytelling.
- Advanced knowledge of industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong creative judgment, attention to detail, and ability to interpret briefs into compelling visual narratives.
- Previous experience in a senior or lead video editing role, preferably in an agency, production house, or marketing environment.
- Relevant education or training in film, media production, visual communication, or a related field is preferred.
