The company values collaboration, attention to detail, and continuous improvement in visual communication.Role Description The Senior Video Editor is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu. This role involves editing raw footage into polished videos, including cutting, sequencing, sound integration, and visual enhancement for various formats such as commercials, branded content, social media, and long-form videos. The Senior Video Editor will manage color grading, motion graphics, and basic graphic elements to ensure consistent visual quality and brand alignment. Daily tasks include collaborating with directors and producers, interpreting creative briefs, organizing media assets, maintaining project timelines, and ensuring smooth delivery of final outputs. The role also includes mentoring junior editors, suggesting creative improvements, and keeping up with current editing trends and tools.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience handling end-to-end post-production workflows.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading and visual enhancement to maintain consistent look and feel across projects.
- Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to support storytelling and brand identity.
- Expertise with industry-standard editing and post-production software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools).
- Demonstrated experience working on commercial, corporate, or digital media projects with a strong portfolio of completed work.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, including experience working with cross-functional creative teams.
- Relevant education or training in film, media production, or a related field is preferred.
