Role Description

We are hiring an Experienced Video Editor for a full-time role. As a Video Editor at Bloom Dots, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage into compelling, high-performing content for social media and digital marketing campaigns. You will collaborate closely with our creative team, social media managers, and clients to produce visually engaging videos, aligned with brand guidelines, and optimized for different platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Create engaging reels, advertisements, promotional videos, testimonials, and other marketing content.
• Add motion graphics, transitions, subtitles, sound effects, music, and colour correction to enhance video quality.
• Ensure all content aligns with client branding, campaign objectives, and platform best practices.
• Work closely with Social Media Managers and the creative team to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality outputs.
• Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Organize and maintain project files using Google Drive and internal systems.
• Incorporate client feedback and revisions efficiently.
• Stay up to date with editing trends, social media content styles, and emerging creative techniques.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail in every stage of the editing process.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Video Editor.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci.
• Experience with Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and animations is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, composition, and visual aesthetics.
• Experience editing content specifically for social media platforms.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a remote team.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Ability to receive feedback positively and implement revisions efficiently.
• A portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous work is required.
