Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Butwal. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage into compelling videos for digital campaigns, social media, and brand storytelling. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and organizing footage, selecting the best takes, trimming and sequencing clips, and adding transitions, audio, and effects to align with project briefs. The role involves collaborating closely with videographers, designers, and marketing strategists to maintain brand consistency and meet client objectives. The Video Editor will also perform basic color correction and grading, prepare different formats for various platforms, and maintain file organization and backups for ongoing and completed projects.
Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, with experience assembling footage into clear, engaging narratives.
  • Proficiency in Video Color Grading, with the ability to apply consistent looks and correct exposure, contrast, and color balance.
  • Hands-on experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance videos with titles, lower thirds, overlays, and simple animations.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and basic familiarity with After Effects or comparable tools.
  • Ability to interpret creative briefs, follow brand guidelines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Portfolio demonstrating previous video editing work; agency or digital marketing experience is an advantage.
  • Relevant education or training in film, multimedia, communications, or a related field is preferred but not strictly required with strong proven experience.
