Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Demi Chef De Partie, located in Kathmandu. The DCDP will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes to the highest standards, ensuring quality and consistency in flavor and presentation. Day-to-day tasks will include managing kitchen operations, monitoring food preparation, ensuring compliance with hygiene and cleanliness standards, and coordinating with team members to maintain kitchen efficiency. Additionally, the role involves contributing creatively to menu planning and maintaining ingredient inventory levels.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Food Preparation and Culinary Skills, with specialization in Indian cuisine.
- Demonstrated expertise in Cooking techniques, recipe creation, and dish presentation.
- Strong understanding and adherence to Hygiene standards and kitchen safety protocols.
- Excellent Communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Prior experience in a similar role within a professional kitchen or hospitality setting is highly desirable.
- A diploma or certification in culinary arts or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
