About this role/ Role Overview
This role is responsible to build software using languages and technologies of the .NET framework. You will create applications from scratch, configure existing systems and provide user support.
In this role, you should be able to write functional code with a sharp eye for spotting defects. You should be a team player and excellent communicator. This role holder should be passionate about the .NET framework and software design/architecture.
Your goal will be to work with internal teams to design, develop and maintain software.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Expertise (60%)
- Participate in requirements analysis.
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture.
- Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.
- Test and deploy applications and systems.
- Revise, update, refactor and debug code.
- Use version control system (Git, Bitbucket)
- Improve existing software.
- Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
Product Quality Assurance (30%)
- Conduct functional testing and verification before sending to QA.
- Prepare functional document for QA team for further testing.
Team Management (5%)
- Attend on different project management process/methodology and follow these session’s outcome.
Stakeholder Management (5%)
- Provide regular and effective progress updates to and work closely with Development Project Managers to ensure the management of any delivery risks or issues.
Any other additional tasks or responsibilities as required by the business.
Required Experience & Qualifications / Critical elements of success.
- Proven work experience above 3+ years as a .NET Developer
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- Thorough knowledge of the .NET ecosystem, including the .NET Framework and .NET Core, their differences, and their application in various scenarios.
- Proficiency in building REST APIs and web applications using ASP.NET Core & C#, including middleware, routing, dependency injection, and configuration.
- Working knowledge of MSSQL, stored procedures, database design and Entity Framework (EF Core).
- Knowledge of SOLID principles for writing maintainable and scalable code, good knowledge of clean architecture and different design patterns is essential.
- Knowledge of microservice architecture & asynchronous communication using message brokers
- Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Command Query Responsibility Segregation (CQRS)
- Working knowledge of unit and integration tests
- Should have knowledge of docker (hands on experience will be an added benefit)
- Familiarity with agile environments
- Excellent communication skills and troubleshooting abilities
- Knowledge of how automated workflows using git pipelines works in bitbucket or GitHub and CI/CD process will be an added benefit.
- Should be familiar with the concept or use of OAuth/OpenID Connect and different identity providers.
