Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Software Engineer to join our team focusing on both production support and data engineering tasks. This role is essential for ensuring system stability through rigorous troubleshooting while simultaneously building and maintaining robust data pipelines. Job Description:
- Provide production support, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure high availability of critical applications.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, with a proactive approach to preventing production incidents.
- Work with tools, scripts, and RDBMS like PostgreSQL to view and edit data related to data processing and steps in the data processing.
- Manage database operations, ensuring data integrity and query optimization.
- Build, and maintain efficient ETL/data pipelines to transform and move data across systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and improve system reliability.
- Contribute to basic infrastructure maintenance within Linux and AWS environments.
- Provide support in integrating basic AI/ML solutions into existing workflows where applicable.
- Document support procedures, incident resolutions, and data pipeline architectures to ensure knowledge sharing.
Required Skills and Expertise:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
- 2 years of experience in production support, maintenance is mandatory.
- Demonstrable experience with data transformation, ETL processes, and pipeline development.
Technical Skills
- Strong RDBMS/SQL Skills: Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, database administration, and performance tuning.
- Python: Strong programming capability for scripting, automation, and data handling.
- Data Engineering: Experience in building/maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines.
- Frameworks: Familiarity with FastAPI or Django is a significant advantage.
- Workflow Management: Experience with Apache Airflow for task orchestration is highly preferred.
- Environment: Working knowledge of Linux systems and cloud platforms (AWS).
- Emerging Tech: Basic awareness or exposure to AI/ML concepts and their practical applications.

Work Modality
Sunday: Regular Shift (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM), Work from Home
Monday to Thursday: Evening Shift (1:00 PM – 10:00 PM)
- First half: Office-based
- Second half: Work from Home
