Company Description Junior Jaycees Budhanilkantha is a branchlet of JCI Budhanilkantha (Nepal), committed to community service and social impact. The club leads initiatives in areas such as educational support, environmental conservation, and health awareness. Its programs focus on addressing diverse local needs while fostering sustainable and meaningful change. Junior Jaycees Budhanilkantha also works to promote social well-being and encourage active civic engagement. Role Description Volunteers will support the planning and delivery of community programs, including educational activities, environmental projects, and health awareness events. Daily tasks may include assisting with event logistics, preparing materials, coordinating with participants and partners, and supporting outreach efforts in the community. Volunteers will also help with basic documentation, such as taking attendance, collecting feedback, and sharing updates with the core team. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Budhanilkantha, with a mix of on-site community work and some tasks that can be completed from home, such as online coordination and reporting. Volunteers will collaborate closely with fellow members, follow established guidelines, and contribute ideas to improve existing and future initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong interest in community service, social impact, and working with diverse groups.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact respectfully with people of all ages and backgrounds.
- Basic organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to follow schedules and meet agreed timelines.
- Comfort with hybrid work: willingness to attend on-site activities in Budhanilkantha and perform some tasks from home.
- Reliability, accountability, and a proactive attitude toward assigned responsibilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, receiving and giving feedback constructively.
- Openness to learning, including participating in trainings or orientations provided by Junior Jaycees Budhanilkantha.
- Prior volunteer or community engagement experience is an advantage but not required; students and early-career individuals are encouraged to apply.
