Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Kathmandu. The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities with homeowners, designers, architects, contractors, and real estate partners. The role includes building and maintaining client relationships, conducting sales meetings and product presentations, and negotiating pricing and contracts within set guidelines. The manager will collaborate with the showroom and design teams to create proposals, follow up on leads, and ensure a high-conversion sales pipeline. Day-to-day tasks include market research, tracking competitors, preparing sales reports, forecasting revenue, and providing feedback to management on product and service improvements. The role also involves representing Krish Home Studios at industry events, maintaining a strong professional network, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, B2C or B2B sales, or account management, ideally in interiors, construction, real estate, or related industries.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
  • Solid skills in lead generation, pipeline management, and closing deals, with a data-driven approach to meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Comfort with basic CRM tools, sales reporting, and use of productivity software (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation tools).
  • Ability to understand and articulate design, product features, and value propositions to diverse stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently on-site while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with the Kathmandu market and local client expectations is an advantage.
