The Video Editor / Videographer Intern will support the production team across all stages of content creation, from pre-production planning to final post-production editing. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical foundation in video production, an eye for composition, and a deep interest in digital media trends.
Key Responsibilities
1. Video Production & Videography
- Assist in planning, setting up, and executing multi-platform video shoots (including corporate, promotional, and social media content).
- Handle basic camera operations, lighting setups, and audio recording equipment on-site.
- Capture high-quality raw footage, b-roll, and behind-the-scenes content as directed by the production lead.
2. Post-Production & Editing
- Log, organize, and archive raw footage and project files systematically.
- Edit raw footage into cohesive, engaging videos, incorporating correct pacing, sound design, color correction, and basic motion graphics.
- Format and optimize video assets for various digital distribution channels, including YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
3. Collaboration & Creative Alignment
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for visual storytelling and content execution.
- Incorporate feedback from internal stakeholders and senior creatives to refine and finalize video deliverables.
- Maintain alignment with brand guidelines and project briefs across all visual outputs.
Qualifications & Skills
- Technical Proficiency: Foundational knowledge of industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Adobe After Effects).
- Production Knowledge: Basic understanding of camera mechanics, composition, lighting, and audio capturing techniques.
- Organization: Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to strict project deadlines.
- Communication: Excellent collaborative and communication skills to work effectively within a cross-functional team.
- Portfolio Requirement: A portfolio or showreel demonstrating basic competency in video editing and/or cinematography is required.
