Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a UK Counselor located in Kathmandu. The UK Counselor will be responsible for providing personalized guidance to prospective students, assisting with course and university selection, and supporting the visa application process. Key responsibilities also include building relationships with students, conducting assessments to identify academic and career goals, and staying updated on UK education policies and requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong counseling, interpersonal communication, and customer service skills
- Knowledge of UK higher education systems, university admissions, and visa requirements
- Organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with digital communication tools
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and handle confidential information
- Experience in academic counseling or similar roles is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage
