Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu for a Business Development Manager. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and fostering relationships with prospective clients, partners, and institutions to expand the company's reach. Day-to-day tasks include market research, developing strategic business plans, managing client accounts, negotiating partnerships, and driving revenue growth. The role also involves attending networking events, preparing presentations, and ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong business development and strategic planning abilities for client acquisition and partnership building
- Effective communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Proficiency in market research, data analysis, and report preparation
- Understanding of the international education sector is an advantage
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field
- Previous experience in business development, sales, or related roles preferred
- Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus
