Job Description

Join our newsroom as a Journalist Intern to learn the ropes of high-level diplomatic reporting. We need an adaptable and intelligent individual ready to dive into the fast-paced world of international relations media.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting: Assist senior editors in drafting news briefs, covering local diplomatic events, and conducting preliminary interviews.
Digital Engagement: Support the digital team in adapting print stories for social media and web platforms.
Trend Tracking: Monitor global news outlets to provide daily summaries of shifts in the geopolitical landscape.

Requirements:

Attributes: Intelligent, tech-friendly, and highly adaptable to changing deadlines.
Diplomatic Protocol & Etiquette: The candidate must possess an innate understanding of formal social norms, demonstrating high-level "Diplomatic Acumen" when engaging with dignitaries, heads of missions, and global thinkers.
Knowledge: Basic understanding of Nepal’s foreign policy and a keen eye for storytelling.

Duration: 6 Months/ Days: Sunday to Friday

Time: 10:00 am to 5:30 pm (Flexible)

Monthly Stipend: Monthly stipend details are confidential and will be disclosed exclusively during the interview, commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.
