Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Content Editor role based in Kathmandu. The Content Editor will review, edit, and refine content for digital and print channels, including websites, brochures, email campaigns, social media, and student-facing guides. The role involves ensuring clarity, consistency, and accuracy of language; maintaining brand voice and editorial standards; and aligning content with organizational goals and compliance requirements. The Content Editor will collaborate with counselors, marketing team members, and management to plan content, update information on academic programs and admission processes, and ensure all materials are current and student-centric. The position also includes performing fact-checking, basic research on universities and programs, and optimizing content for readability and accessibility.

Qualifications

  • Strong editorial and editing skills, with the ability to refine and structure content for clarity, consistency, and impact.
  • Proficiency in writing and web content writing, including creating clear, engaging, and student-focused materials for digital channels.
  • Experience with content management and basic content workflows, including updating and maintaining content across platforms.
  • Ability to conduct focused research to verify information on programs, institutions, and admission requirements.
  • Excellent command of written English, with attention to grammar, style, and detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Education, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with the international education sector or student counseling environment is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Comfort working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and maintaining a student-centered approach to content.
