Job Description
A growing financial services organization seeks experienced, detail-oriented Lending Support Officers to assist Lending Managers in ensuring an efficient loan process. This position suits proactive, organized individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities
Loan Application Support
- Assist Lending Managers in preparing, packaging, and submitting loan applications, ensuring files progress smoothly from submission to settlement.
- Review, organize, and upload client documents, ensuring all information is accurate, complete, and compliant with policies.
- Conduct credit checks, order valuations, and track progress to facilitate timely loan approvals.
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders, including brokers and lenders, to ensure efficient processing and clear communication during the loan lifecycle.
- Accurately enter and maintain client data in CRM systems.
- Proactively identify potential delays, follow up on outstanding conditions, and ensure all requirements are met promptly.
- Maintain organized client files for compliance and audit purposes, and support general lending team tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Management or a related field
- One year of experience in mortgage support, loan processing, or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of lending processes and compliance requirements (e.g., AML/KYC)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Proactive attitude with a strong team orientation
- Willingness to work overtime during busy periods
