Role DescriptionWe are looking for a dynamic and tech-savvy Robotics Instructor to join our team in a Hybrid capacity. While this is not a traditional 9-to-5 office desk job, it requires a high level of commitment and mandatory on-site presence at our partner schools in Kathmandu as per the pre-set academic schedule (e.g., specific workshop days like Mondays).
The instructor will be responsible for delivering practical lessons, facilitating hands-on robotics workshops, and mentoring students from Class 2 to Class 9. You will work closely with our curriculum team to ensure our "learning by doing" philosophy is alive in every classroom.
Key Responsibilities- On-Site Delivery: Conduct scheduled weekly sessions at partner schools, ensuring 100% punctuality and preparation.
- Mentorship: Guide students through building, coding, and troubleshooting 5+ robotics projects per grade level.
- Instruction: Deliver engaging lessons in Block-based coding (Scratch), Python, and basic Electronics/Robotics.
- Material Management: Assist in the setup and inventory management of robotics kits and sensors during lab sessions.
- Curriculum Feedback: Provide real-time feedback to the development team to improve project modules based on student engagement.
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, or Electronics & Communication Engineering is highly preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience in building and troubleshooting robotic systems and coding (Blockly, Python, or C++).
- Teaching Experience: Previous experience in teaching or training students in a classroom or workshop setting is a significant advantage.
- Communication: Excellent verbal skills to simplify complex technical concepts for young learners (Class 2–9).
- Mindset: A strong eagerness to learn new technologies and a genuine passion for inspiring the next generation of engineers.
- Location: Hybrid (On-site at partner schools in Kathmandu + Remote for lesson planning/prep).
- Attendance: Must be present and "session-ready" whenever classes are scheduled.
- Flexibility: Ideal for professionals or advanced students looking for impactful work that fits a flexible yet disciplined schedule.
