About the role:
We are looking for a dynamic, high-energy Content Manager who embodies the perfect blend of academic excellence and operational leadership. This is not a desk-bound administrative role; it is a position for a "Teacher-Leader" who understands what makes great educational content and has the grit to build a world-class team from the ground up.
The ideal candidate is someone who is as comfortable delivering a lecture as they are managing a high-performance content team.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Talent Acquisition & Partnerships:
- Industry Scouting: Identify and headhunt top-tier educators and subject matter experts (SMEs) across the industry.
- Influencing & Onboarding: Act as the primary brand ambassador to pitch our vision to elite teachers, convincing them to collaborate on high-impact content projects.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term professional networks with academic influencers
Academic Leadership & Teacher Management:
- Quality Mentorship: Provide pedagogical feedback to educators to ensure content aligns with our brand’s quality and engagement standards.
- Workflow Coordination: Manage schedules, contracts, and delivery timelines for external and internal teaching staff.
- Conflict Resolution: Act as the bridge between academic talent and production requirements, ensuring a harmonious working environment.
Content Team Operations:
- Performance Management: Lead the internal content creation team by setting clear, aggressive KPIs and monthly targets.
- Execution Excellence: Oversee the end-to-end content lifecycle—from brainstorming and scripting to final output—ensuring 100% on-time delivery.
- Process Optimization: Continuously refine workflows to increase content output without compromising on educational integrity.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Professional Background:
Experience: 4+ years of experience in the EdTech industry, with a proven track record in both teaching and team management.
Education: Master’s degree in Education, Management, or a specialized core subject (Science, Math, Humanities, etc.).
Subject Matter Expertise: Deep understanding of curriculum design and instructional coaching.
Technical & Soft Skills
Proactive Ownership: A "get-it-done" attitude with the ability to anticipate roadblocks before they happen.
Passionate Advocacy: A genuine love for education and a belief in the transformative power of quality content.
Growth Mindset: A "hungry" approach to professional challenges; someone who views targets as benchmarks to be surpassed, not just met.
- Persuasion Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate and influence top-level talent.
