Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Counselor based in Kathmandu, with some flexibility for remote work. The Counselor will assist students in understanding and navigating the process of pursuing higher education abroad. Responsibilities include providing personalized consultations, evaluating academic credentials, guiding students on application procedures, preparing them for interviews, maintaining communication with partner institutions, and offering support in visa processing and pre-departure preparations.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Knowledge of international education systems, admission processes, and visa requirements
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple timelines and priorities
- Proficient in research for educational institutions, programs, and scholarship opportunities
- Counseling and advisory experience, particularly with students exploring overseas education options
- Proficiency in office software and database management tools
- Ability to adapt in both in-office and remote working environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Communication, or a related field
- Prior experience in the education or consultancy sector is a plus
