This is a full-time, on-site role located in Kathmandu for an Assistant News Editor. The Assistant News Editor will be responsible for supervising and editing news content, ensuring accuracy and quality, and assisting in maintaining the editorial tone and standards of the publication. The role involves writing, editing, and curating informative and engaging news articles, collaborating with the editorial team to develop content strategies, and staying updated with the latest industry developments to ensure relevance in reporting.
- Proficiency in News Writing, Writing, and Journalism
- Strong Editorial skills with experience in editing and content quality control
- Knowledge of New Media trends and platforms
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of the tech industry or experience in technology-related journalism is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a relevant field
