Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Field Sales Officer to manage on-field sales of CATL EV batteries and battery spare parts. The ideal candidate will identify potential customers, build relationships with dealers/fleet owners, institutional partners, and drive sales through both direct and insurance-backed channels to achieve business targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- On-Field Sales & Business Development: Conduct daily field visits to identify potential customers, including EV service centers, automobile workshops, fleet operators (EV vans / Micro Buses), and commercial vehicle owners.
- Product Promotion: Promote and sell CATL battery spares and complete EV battery packs, explaining technical advantages, lifespan, and safety features.
- Dealer Network Expansion: Develop new dealers and retailers for CATL spares across designated territories in Nepal.
- Insurance Channel Development
- Build and maintain working relationships with insurance companies, surveyors, and insurance partners.
- Facilitate battery replacement and spare sales through insurance claims, coordinating between customers, insurers, and internal teams.
- Support documentation, technical clarifications, and claim-related coordination to ensure smooth closure of insurance-backed sales.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and high customer satisfaction.
- Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for both batteries and spare parts.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, analyze market trends, and provide feedback to management to adjust sales strategies.
- Reporting & CRM: Maintain accurate sales records, daily visit reports, and client databases using CRM tools.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Automobile Engineering.
- Experience: The candidate must have relevant and hands-on experience in the Electric Vehicle (EV) commercial vehicle segment, specifically in sales and/or after-sales operations.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of Lithium-ion batteries, charging systems, or EV technology is a plus.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Mobility: Must have a valid two-wheeler driving license and preferably a personal vehicle for daily field visits.
