Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Tour Planner Intern based in Kathmandu, Nepal. The role involves assisting in the creation and management of travel itineraries, coordinating with local guides and service providers, and ensuring seamless communication with clients. Additional responsibilities include conducting research on destinations, updating tour packages, and providing support in organizing transportation, accommodations, and activities for travelers. The intern will also play an integral role in delivering excellent customer experiences by addressing client inquiries and ensuring their requirements are met.
Qualifications
- Strong planning and organizational skills, including itinerary creation and attention to detail
- Excellent research and problem-solving abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration
- Proficiency in using computer applications such as Microsoft Office and relevant travel software
- Passion for travel, sustainability, and the tourism industry
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an on-site setting
- Fluency in English, plus knowledge of other languages is a bonus
- Relevant academic background in Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field
