Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Server located in Kathmandu. The Senior Server will provide exceptional table service, guide guests through the dining experience, and ensure their satisfaction by anticipating needs. Responsibilities include accurately taking orders, managing table assignments, serving food and beverages, and coordinating with the kitchen team to guarantee a seamless service. The Senior Server will also take a leadership role in training junior team members and maintaining high service standards. Other duties include handling customer inquiries, resolving concerns, and upholding health and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with a diverse clientele.
- Proficiency in table service techniques, including menu knowledge and wine pairings.
- Leadership experience and the ability to mentor and guide junior staff members.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.
- Prior experience in fine dining or hospitality is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in hospitality or a related field is a plus.
