The Role
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to take our product to market responsibly and effectively. You will be the driving force behind our sales strategy, by proactively connecting with retailers and affiliates on a daily basis, you will ensure our products reach as many shelves as possible.
As the single point of contact for our retail partners and affiliates, you will address queries, manage requirements, and champion the brand as a true evangelist. You will report directly to the COO daily, providing actionable sales data and market insights. This role is designed for long-term growth and will eventually evolve into a Regional Business Head position for the right candidate.
Key Details
- Base Salary: Up to NPR 30,000 per month
- On-Target Earnings: Up to NPR 50,000 per month including performance-based incentives
- Joining Date: April 1st, 2026
- Work Schedule: 5 days a week (Monday to Friday), with a willingness to work occasional Sundays. Work from Office.
- Travel: Regular travel inside the Kathmandu Valley is required, with potential expansion across Nepal as the business grows.
- Languages: Fluency in English, Nepali, and Newari is required.
Experience
We are looking for a mid-to-senior level professional with 3–4 years of proven experience in business development and sales. The ideal candidate will have a consistent track record of exceeding monthly and quarterly sales quotas. Experience working in the cosmetics industry is a plus.
Skills Required
- B2B Sales & Distribution: Expertise in navigating the retail cosmetics landscape, onboarding new stores, and managing distribution channels.
- Relationship Management: Ability to build and nurture long-term, profitable relationships with retail partners and affiliates.
- Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional persuasive abilities in English, Nepali, and Newari to effectively close deals and manage client expectations.
- Data Reporting & Analytics: Strong capability to track daily sales metrics, manage inventory flow, and present clear, concise data to executive leadership.
- Self-Starter & Brand Advocacy: High energy, proactive approach, and the ability to act as a passionate ambassador for the nü brand.
