This full-time, on-site role is based in Kathmandu. As a New Zealand Counselor at GHEN, you will support students in choosing suitable study programs and institutions in New Zealand. You will assist in documentation, guide visa application processes, and provide tailored counseling to address students’ individual needs. The role also involves maintaining industry knowledge, collaborating with partner institutions, and delivering presentations or informational sessions when required.
- Proficiency in career counseling and student advising
- Knowledge of New Zealand education system, visa requirements, and higher education programs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with students and families
- Organizational, documentation, and data management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Attention to detail and familiarity with processes for visa documentation and admissions
- Experience in the education consultancy field or similar role is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Education, or a related field
- Fluency in English and Nepali is required
