Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Professor of Mathematics at Kathmandu University, located in Dhulikhel. The Associate Professor will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching in Mathematics courses, contributing to research activities, supervising student projects, and developing curricula for undergraduate and graduate programs. The role also involves participation in departmental activities, collaboration with colleagues in interdisciplinary research, and mentoring students to foster their academic and professional growth.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Mathematics and proficiency in Applied Mathematics
Knowledge and application skills in Physics and Statistics
Experience in Curriculum Development for higher education programs
Commitment to academic and research excellence, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication, teaching, and mentoring abilities
A doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Mathematics or a closely related field
Demonstrated research publications in peer-reviewed journals
