Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Housekeeping Senior at Hotel Tradition and Spa, located in Kathmandu. The Housekeeping Senior will oversee the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping team to ensure cleanliness and organization across the facility. Responsibilities include monitoring and assisting with laundry services, inspecting rooms and public areas for standards compliance, addressing guest concerns and requests, and providing effective training to housekeeping staff. The role will also involve collaborating with other departments to maintain an excellent guest experience and handling inventory of cleaning supplies.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Housekeeping and Laundry tasks, with knowledge of standard cleaning procedures and equipment
Strong Customer Service and Communication abilities to interact effectively with guests and staff
Experience in providing Training and mentoring to team members to ensure consistent performance
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Prior experience in a senior housekeeping role is preferred
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
Basic understanding of inventory management and health and safety regulations
