Job Description
Role Overview
The BDO will be responsible for driving revenue growth through proactive customer acquisition, account management, and opportunity conversion. The role focuses on managing the sales lifecycle from lead generation to order closure, while working closely with the Pre-Sales and Technical teams to deliver value-driven solutions to customers.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across assigned sectors.
- Manage the complete sales cycle: lead generation → opportunity development → proposal → negotiation → closure.
- Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Upsell and cross-sell solutions to existing customers.
Customer & Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Conduct regular customer meetings, presentations, and follow-ups.
- Understand customer business needs and position appropriate products and solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
Pipeline & Reporting
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecast.
- Update opportunity status, expected revenue, and timelines on a regular basis.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management review.
Collaboration & Internal Coordination
- Work closely with Pre-Sales and Technical teams for solution design, demos, and PoCs.
- Coordinate with Operations, Finance, and Admin teams for order processing, invoicing, and delivery.
- Ensure compliance with internal sales processes, deal registration, and approval workflows.
Market & Business Intelligence
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Share market insights and opportunities with the Business Development Manager.
- Support marketing initiatives, events, and partner engagements when required.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to understand customer requirements and articulate value propositions
- Result-oriented mindset with strong follow-up discipline
- Basic understanding of ICT / technology solutions (preferred)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-driven environment
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, IT, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in sales or business development (ICT industry preferred)
- Fresh graduates with strong potential may also be considered
