Job Description
Position OverviewThe organization seeks a driven and articulate Junior Business Development Associate to support growth initiatives and enhance client engagement. This position combines proactive outbound business development with structured account management of existing and dormant clients. The successful candidate will identify revenue opportunities, build early-stage relationships, and support the sales pipeline through accurate data and insights.
This position is ideal for candidates early in their careers who are comfortable with high activity levels, receptive to learning, and motivated by performance-based outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
- Conduct 50 or more outbound calls daily to identify and qualify potential business opportunities
- Initiate conversations with prospective clients, assess their needs, and schedule meetings for senior team members
- Consistently follow up on leads to advance prospects through the initial stages of the sales funnel
- Reconnect with existing and dormant clients to evaluate current requirements and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling
- Communicate new services, updates, and value propositions to encourage renewed client engagement
- Maintain professional and timely communication to foster long-term client relationships
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions in the CRM system
- Track follow-ups, call outcomes, and opportunity statuses to support reporting and forecasting processes
- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and foundational sales documentation for client meetings
- Document recurring objections, client feedback, and competitive insights obtained during prospecting calls
- Share structured feedback with the business development team to support the refinement of messaging and strategy
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, marketing, or a related field
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills with the ability to represent the organization in a professional manner
- Ability to manage high-volume outreach while maintaining organization and attention to detail
- Exhibit a confident, courteous, and authentic interpersonal style
- 0 to 2 years of experience in sales, telemarketing, customer service, or business development roles
- Recent graduates with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply
- Demonstrate resilience and emotional maturity to manage rejection and sustain consistent performance
- Strong time management and task prioritization skills
