Job Description
Role SummaryThe National Sales Manager will be responsible for driving the overall sales strategy, revenue growth, and market expansion of Bencardo Bathware and Home Solution products across Nepal. This leadership role involves managing the nationwide sales force, dealer, distributor network, retail expansion, and coordination with marketing and logistics teams to achieve sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy and Execution.
- Develop and implement nationwide sales strategies aligned with business goals.
- Forecast and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for both product lines.
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns and market activations.
- Channel and Distribution Management.
- Expand and manage dealer and distributor networks across all key cities and emerging markets.
- Ensure proper product availability and placement in modern retail, traditional retail, and project segments.
- Negotiate and finalize terms with channel partners.
- Recruit, train, and lead a high performing sales team across regions.
- Monitor and review performance of area sales managers, executives, and support staff.
- Set KPIs, provide mentorship, and foster a result driven culture.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Provide actionable insights to refine product positioning and pricing strategies.
- Work closely with the Marketing, Product, and Supply Chain teams to align demand and supply.
- Liaise with architects, interior designers, and developers for project based business.
- Maintain and present regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and budgets.
- Optimize trade spend and ensure ROI driven decision making.
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of sales experience in building materials, sanitary ware, bath fittings, tiles, or home improvement segments.
- Proven track record of managing a national or large regional sales network.
- Strong negotiation, leadership, and team management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Nepal.
- Knowledge of the Nepali market dynamics and local language proficiency is a plus.
