Job Description
The Sales Executive will be responsible for achieving sales targets, building customer relationships, supporting collections, and maintaining accurate records and reports. This role involves daily client visits, market research, product promotion, and active participation in sales planning and meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Strategy:
Develop and implement effective sales plans to meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Assist in the development of yearly sales strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
Maintain and update a detailed database of clients and potential leads.
Build and sustain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
Client Visits & Communication:
Plan daily and weekly client visits; create and follow a Permanent Journey Plan (PJP).
Submit Daily Sales Reports (DSR) consistently and accurately.
Follow up regularly with clients via calls, emails, or in-person visits.
Prepare business letters, quotations, and professional follow-up communications.
Collection & Finance:
Develop and execute weekly collection plans for timely receivables.
Ensure collection of dues as per contract terms and conditions.
Keep records of sales, outstanding balances, collections, and claims.
Reporting & Meetings:
Submit sales performance reports: daily, weekly, monthly, and forecasts.
Participate actively in sales meetings to review performance and address challenges.
Marketing & Promotion:
Conduct product demonstrations for clients and partners.
Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, promotional events, training sessions, etc.
Conduct market research to identify target customers, analyze trends, and monitor competitors.
Coordination & Compliance:
Maintain strong coordination with internal departments (logistics, finance, support, etc.).
Ensure compliance with all sales processes, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Carry out any additional responsibilities as assigned by the reporting authority.
Job Specification
Qualifications:
Minimum: Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred)
Preferred: Academic or professional exposure to sales in medical or healthcare industry
Experience:
Minimum 1–2 years in sales or client-facing roles
Experience in medical, pharmaceutical, diagnostic, or healthcare product sales is a strong advantage
Skills Required:
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Good knowledge of sales planning and customer relationship management
Ability to prepare structured reports and maintain documentation
Basic MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Email)
Self-motivated, target-driven, and confident in public interaction
Knowledge of market research and competitor analysis
Other Requirements:
Must be willing to travel regularly for client visits
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
High sense of accountability and discipline in work
Own two-wheeler and valid driving license (preferred)
Salary: Negotiable (based on sales experience; medical field background preferred)
