Job Title: Business Development and Sales | Senior Officer

Designation: Senior Officer

Reports to: Director

Location: Bakhundole, Lalitpur, Nepal

Shift: Standard (09:00 AM to 06:00 PM) from Monday to Friday

Position Overview

Business Development Senior Officer will be responsible for helping the company to boost growth and sales. They will be responsible for conducting market research, developing business strategies, building client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. Furthermore, business development senior officer will be responsible for finding work in a variety of industries from marketing to information technology.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Develop business and marketing plans in coordination with the team lead to achieve set revenue/customer acquisition goals.
  • Research the market for identifying new business opportunities, develop lead generating platforms.
  • Understand the target markets, including industry, company, project to develop proposals for matching products and services to solve prospects clients’ business problems.
  • Develop business proposals, contracts and any necessary documents for new and existing customers.
  • Embrace a strong understanding of our products and services, our competition in the industry and positioning.
  • Provide customer support service, account management and day to day business communication and support with vendors.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge about business development practices, marketing activities, prospective clients and industry trends.
  • Maintain a knowledge repository of clients, referrals, RFPs, prospects, and presentations.
  • Develop strong customer relationships in order to generate a high volume of prospective clients.
  • Participate in industry forums, client discussions, and conferences as a representative of the organization.
  • Determine cross-selling opportunities among different offices.
  • Updating the Hubspot application on daily basis
  • Ensure proper documentation, use-case reference and proper record management for re-use by fellow business teams in Nepal and International.
  • Manage customer calls and appointments effectively for new opportunities.
  • Supervise the client relationship management database and utilize it to manage customer contacts, mailing lists and other information.
  • Learning and acquiring certain skills and certifications as per the job requirements.
  • Keep proper lead records and use office productivity tools for coordination and collaboration with-in the department and outside.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for developing and delivering big ideas for our customers
  • All other duties assigned by the line manager.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Task-Related Skills and Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in related field
  • Competencies and Soft Skills
  • Must have the high pursuing capacity with persistence and perseverance. Strong communication, presentation, and creative skills.
  • Must have an understanding of digital marketing (Facebook and Google).
  • Deep and fast learning and an open persistent mindset to new technologies.
  • Active in social media platforms among the industry people.
  • Basic knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint).
  • Knowledge of email solutions like GSuite and Office 365 will be an added advantage
