Overview

Brand managers are responsible for understanding what makes our target audience tick, and for developing marketing campaigns that position our brand according to those motivators. These branding campaigns will not only drive customer engagement but will further define our brand's reputation and image in relation to the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Make the brand champion and expert while ensuring brand integrity in all respects.
  • Plans, implements, and executes successful consumer marketing programs (including brand strategic planning, market positioning, pricing, promotion, advertising).
  • Contributes to the annual brand planning process.
  • Sets brand planning calendar, coordinates cross-functional activities and planning processes, manages timelines, and ensures timely completion of all deliverables.
  • Leads the development of strategies and objectives for building and executing year-round brand engagement through partnerships, social media, fan conventions, and other marketing vehicles.
  • Utilizes category and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities and drive innovation in product development as well as marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborates with sales and trade marketing teams for specific strategies for consumers and trade channels.
  • Represents the company and provides support as needed at various trade shows and conventions.
  • Plans and execute events and promotions within fan communities.
  • Provides reporting to allow proper measurement of marketing activities and strategic recommendations based on analysis of ongoing trade and consumer promotion programs.
  • Performs other duties as necessary to support the objectives of division and company.
  • Develop and execute branding campaigns aimed at communicating our brand message
  • Communicate our brand personality internally and align company around foundational ideas
  • Media planning and execution
  • Analyze brand positioning and consumer insights
  • Shape and communicate our vision and mission
  • Translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies
  • Manage a team of marketing people working on brand initiatives
  • Lead creative development to motivate the target audience to “take action”
  • Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications and sales estimates
  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs
  • Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities
  • Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices, and tactics.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
  • 8-9 years of experience in Brand and Marketing, at least 7 years in marketing
  • General brand management experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Power Point/Word
  • Key initiative planning and execution
  • Consumer communication strategy, planning and execution
  • Strategic Thinking
  • Cross-functional project leadership
  • Consumer insights
  • Strategic thinker, able to identify long-term opportunities and trends

Physical Requirements

  • Phone conversation, walking, driving etc.

Travel Requirements

  • Visits to dealers and market from time to time
