Job Description
Role Overview
The Content Creator is responsible for brainstorming, planning, and shooting engaging content for Meesaa’s digital platforms — especially Instagram and TikTok. This role focuses on idea generation, shooting content using mobile devices, and light editing using simple apps (no professional editing software required). If you’re social-savvy, love jewellery, and enjoy being behind the camera (or even in front of it), this is for you!
Key Responsibilities
Create Social Content
- Plan and film short videos and Reels (e.g., product styling, BTS, unboxing, customer stories)
- Take casual, aesthetic photos for Stories, Highlights, and campaigns
- Use mobile apps (like CapCut, InShot, or Canva) for quick edits
Creative Planning
- Stay up-to-date with TikTok/Instagram trends and adapt them to the brand
- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm new content ideas and campaigns
- Help with scripting and direction of short videos and storytelling pieces
Assist with Captions & Posts
- Write fun, engaging captions aligned with Meesaa’s tone and audience
- Prepare content for posting with basic scheduling or platform tools
Job Specification
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ year of experience creating content (can include personal or freelance work)
- Familiarity with Instagram Reels, TikTok trends, and creative storytelling
- Confident with phone camera use, natural lighting, and mobile content creation
- Comfortable using CapCut, InShot, Canva, or similar apps for basic edits
- A good sense of aesthetic, fashion, and attention to visual details
- Bonus: Comfortable being on camera or directing others during shoots
Nice to Have (but not required)
- Basic graphic design skills (e.g. Canva Pro)
- Photography or styling interest
- Experience in fashion, lifestyle, or jewellery brands
