Job Description
Position Overview:
Poshilo Foods Products (Sister Company of Manaram Group) is looking for Procurement officer who is responsible for finding goods and services for the company at the best value regarding quality and price.
Roles and Responsibilities
Procurement Task
- Ensure that procurement policies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality, and delivery targets and which enables the company to function and compete effectively in the market.
- Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers, and review existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure ongoing feasibility.
- Implement change and develop new processes to better procure goods and services.
- Monitor business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times.
- Review and maintain a good record of purchasing files and records (purchase orders, contracts, etc.) to ensure its compliance with company policies and procedures and ensure the availability of documentation.
- Responsible for order placement timing, supply/demand alignment, material replenishment and supplier performance.
Support Management Team
- Work with the Admin department to maintain and update supplier information by managing inventories and maintaining accurate records.
- Assist in controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
- Help to review and monitor capital purchases to ensure their compliance with company policies and procedures.
Relationship Management
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure long-term goals and objectives.
- Evaluate vendors to ensure their performance is in place with established specifications.
Reporting
- Reporting on a regular basis to the Procurement Manager
- Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.

Skills and Qualifications
Task Related
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, or related field required
- 1 or more years of experience in related fields, preferably in the FMCG or agricultural industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft office and purchasing skill.

- Able to manage multiple projects at one time and ability to plan, delegate and evaluate progress toward goals.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines within available timeframes.
- Self-motivated and quick learner with a can-do attitude.

- Open to traveling anytime necessary.
