Job Description
Aksharaa School is seeking passionate and dedicated Grade Teachers for our primary section. The ideal candidate will create a stimulating, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that promotes academic, social, and emotional growth. They will plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons, encourage curiosity and creativity, and support the holistic development of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that supports learning and student well-being.
Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, projects, tests, and continuous evaluations.
Maintain accurate academic records, including lesson plans, attendance, and performance reports.
Identify individual learning needs and provide tailored support or remedial instruction.
Collaborate with colleagues, coordinators, and school leadership to enhance teaching practices and academic standards.
Actively participate in school programs, co-curricular activities, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Uphold the school’s values, policies, and professional ethics, serving as a role model for students.
Job Specification
Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant field; Master’s preferred.
Experience: At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience in primary education.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
Ability to create an engaging, supportive, and motivating classroom environment.
