Job Description
The Financial Services Officer is responsible for supporting the sales and servicing of financial products by guiding clients through application processes, conducting due diligence, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining strong client relationships. The role focuses on customer acquisition, timely repayments, and long-term client retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell financial products and services to individual and business clients.
- Advise clients on loan eligibility, application procedures, and required documentation.
- Assist clients throughout the loan application and approval process.
- Conduct client due diligence, including field visits, verification, and document analysis.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, KYC, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure proper documentation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to support timely repayments and repeat business.
- Follow up with clients on repayments and address concerns professionally.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth processing and service delivery.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, client feedback, and field activities.
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant experience in financial services, sales, lending, or customer relationship management is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of loan products, credit processes, and KYC regulations.
