Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Investment Professional responsible for sourcing and evaluating equity investment opportunities across both private and public markets. The role involves conducting comprehensive industry and market research, performing financial modeling and valuation analysis, and supporting strategic investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate potential equity investment opportunities in both private and public markets
- Conduct industry research, market analysis, and build relationships with founders, brokers, and financial institutions.
- Perform detailed financial modeling and valuation (DCF, Comparable Analysis, IRR, NPV).
- Analyze financial statements and assess risk profile, growth potential, and capital structure.
- Prepare investment memos and present recommendations to the Investment Committee/Board.
- Execute and monitor secondary market trades aligned with research insights and company strategy.
- Manage and rebalance the investment portfolio while tracking performance and exit opportunities.
- Prepare periodic portfolio performance reports (monthly/quarterly).
- Identify and mitigate financial, market, and operational risks while ensuring regulatory compliance (SEBON/NEPSE).
Job Specification
- Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics, MBA, CFA (preferred).
- Strong understanding of capital markets and valuation techniques.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience (preferred).
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial tools.
- Knowledge of Nepal capital market regulations is an advantage.
- High integrity and confidentiality standards.
