Job Description
- Welcome customers and create a professional first impression.
- Listen to customer concerns and clearly record complaints.
- Explain service process, cost estimate, and delivery time in simple language.
- Build long-term trust and customer loyalty.
- Prepare accurate Job Cards with complete vehicle and customer details.
- Ensure proper documentation before handing vehicle to workshop.
- Maintain service records and follow company SOP.
- Coordination with Technical Team
- Coordinate with Service Supervisor and Technicians for job progress.
- Monitor turnaround time (TAT) and ensure timely delivery.
- Communicate technical updates to customers in easy-to-understand language.
- Coordinate with Parts Counter for spare parts availability.
- Cross-check labour and parts billing before delivery.
- Ensure transparent billing and explain charges to customer.
- Confirm all customer complaints are addressed before delivery.
- Conduct basic visual inspection (cleanliness, washing, accessories).
- Explain work done and next service schedule to customer.
- Support achievement of monthly service revenue and CSI targets.
- Handle customer complaints calmly and professionally.
- Support service camps, follow-up calls, and retention activities.
- Maintain front desk discipline and service process flow.
Job Specification
- A degree in mechanics or a related field may be advantageous.
- Experience in the automotive field may be advantageous.
- A strong understanding of automotive technology and the automotive industry.
- Proficiency with industry-specific software.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to communicate with mechanics, customers, and management.
