Position Overview:
IGF Abroad is looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Counselor who is enthusiastic about guiding students on their educational journey to Australia and the USA. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing personalized counseling, managing application processes, offering expert visa guidance, and contributing to the strategic growth of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Student Counseling: Advise students on selecting appropriate universities and academic programs based on their profile and aspirations for Australia and the USA.
  • Application Processing: Guide students through documentation, Statement of Purpose (SOP) preparation, and university application procedures to ensure timely submissions.
  • Visa Guidance: Offer comprehensive support on visa application requirements, financial documentation, and mock interview sessions.
  • Market Expansion: Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance IGF Abroad’s visibility, organize promotional events, and develop partnerships with educational institutions.
  • Follow-up & Conversion: Maintain strong follow-up with leads and ensure high conversion from inquiry to enrollment.
Job Specification
  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Education, Counseling, or a related field
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in education consulting, specifically for Australia and the USA
  • In-depth knowledge of international education systems, especially Australia and USA
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to assess student profiles and provide appropriate guidance
  • Familiarity with visa processes and documentation requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
  • Organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple student profiles simultaneously
  • Goal-driven with a professional and ethical approach
