Hydro-Consult Engineering Ltd (HCE) is a leading consulting company of Nepal especially in hydropower sector, since the establishment of Butwal Power Company (parent company BPC) in 1966. BPC has acquired 80% share of HCE on July 2009, which was established on March 1998 by People Energy and Environment Development Association (PEEDA). BPC has transferred its engineering consultancy business and BPC Hydro-Consult’s goodwill to HCE aiming to run the Engineering consultancy business as a separate entity. HCE has inherited 26 years of professional experience from the BPC Hydroconsult.
