Job Description
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving room and banquet sales by developing corporate, travel trade, and group business, maintaining strong client relationships, and achieving revenue targets for Hotel Manang.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales strategies to increase room, banquet, and event revenue.
Generate new business from corporate clients, travel agents, tour operators, and event planners.
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
Handle corporate contracts, group bookings, and negotiated rates.
Coordinate with Front Office, Reservations, and F&B teams for smooth execution of bookings and events.
Conduct sales calls, client visits, hotel inspections, and promotional activities.
Monitor market trends, competitors’ rates, and business opportunities.
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates for management.
Handle client negotiations and ensure timely follow-up and payments where applicable.
Job Specification
Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel sales or hospitality-related sales.
Strong network with corporate clients, travel agents, and tour operators.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Target-driven, proactive, and result-oriented personality.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
