Job Description

Legal Representation:

  • Representing clients in various courts (civil, criminal, family, etc.), providing a voice for the client in legal proceedings.
  • Advocating on behalf of clients by presenting arguments, examining witnesses, and making legal submissions.
  • Preparing and drafting legal documents, such as pleadings, petitions, motions, and affidavits, required for court cases.

Legal Advice and Consultation:

  • Advising clients on their legal rights and obligations, and helping them understand the legal options available to them.
  • Providing legal opinions on complex issues, interpreting laws and regulations that apply to the client's case.
  • Discussing potential outcomes of cases, and suggesting strategies for resolving disputes or preventing litigation.

Negotiation and Mediation:

  • Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients to resolve disputes outside of court, often in civil or family cases.
  • Mediating between parties to help reach an amicable solution without needing a full trial.
  • Drafting settlement agreements that align with the client’s best interests.

Research and Case Preparation:

  • Conducting legal research on case laws, statutes, and legal precedents relevant to a client’s case.
