Job Description
Global Opportunities Nepal Private Limited is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Counselor (Australia) to guide students through the Australian education pathway. The role involves student counseling, application processing, visa guidance, and relationship management to ensure successful student placements and high satisfaction.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide professional academic and career counseling to students interested in studying in Australia
- Assess student profiles and recommend suitable courses, institutions, and universities
- Guide students through the complete application process, including admissions and documentation
- Assist students with Genuine Student (GS) statement preparation and visa documentation
- Coordinate with Australian universities, colleges, and partner institutions
- Follow up with students, parents, and institutions to ensure timely submissions and decisions
- Maintain accurate student records, application status, and follow-up reports
- Achieve counseling and enrollment targets set by the company
- Stay updated on Australian education systems, visa policies, and institutional requirements
- Support junior counselors and contribute to team performance when required
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree (Minimum)
- At least 2 years of proven experience as an Australia Counselor in an education consultancy
- Strong knowledge of Australian universities, courses, admission, and visa processes
- Experience in SOP/GS statement review and documentation
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong counseling, persuasion, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle multiple student cases efficiently
- Target-driven with a student-focused approach
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems
