Job Description

The Channel Development Senior Executive is responsible for strengthening channel capability, enhancing partner performance, and maintaining retail execution standards across open and organised trade channels. This role plays a key part in driving Gnext’s Apple business growth by building strong partner engagement and ensuring execution excellence at retail.

Key Responsibilities

Channel Strategy & Development

  • Support channel development initiatives across open and organised trade.
  • Drive adoption of Apple and Gnext programs across both iPhone and Non-iPhone categories.
  • Identify performance gaps and growth opportunities to improve overall channel effectiveness.

Partner Engagement & Enablement

  • Work closely with Apple Authorised Resellers, Gnext Advantage Partners, Open Channel resellers, and other retail partners.
  • Support partner onboarding, training initiatives, and program communication.
  • Ensure partners clearly understand targets, incentives, and execution requirements.

Promoter Management

  • Oversee end-to-end promoter management across assigned channels and partners.
  • Ensure promoters are well trained on Apple products, features, and key selling propositions.
  • Coordinate promoter onboarding, training schedules, certifications, and refresher programs.
  • Monitor promoter attendance, coverage, productivity, and overall performance.
  • Collaborate with partners and agencies to address performance gaps and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support and execute incentive programs to boost promoter motivation and engagement.

Retail & Execution Excellence

  • Support retail standards, in-store visibility, POSM deployment, and advocacy initiatives.
  • Coordinate SEED usage, demo readiness, and feature education at store level.
  • Monitor in-store execution quality and compliance with brand standards.

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives linked to channel expansion and sales growth.
  • Assist in rolling out pilots, tests, and new channel initiatives.

Reporting & Insights

  • Track channel performance, partner participation, and program outcomes.
  • Share market insights and feedback from the trade with internal teams.
  • Support preparation of channel reviews, reports, and business updates.
Job Specification
  • 3–6 years of experience in channel sales, channel marketing, or retail development.
  • Experience managing open trade and/or organised retail channels preferred.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and relationship management skills.
  • Commercially minded with strong execution discipline.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-market environments.
