Job Description

We are a startup company and believe in achieving results through non-traditional and innovative ideas, projects, process and ventures. In course of our operations, we will be setting up many standards. An ideal candidate therefore is a person who comes is willing to try on new ideas and evaluate existing common practice with creative lens. We are venturing into following broad areas:

  • Import and distribution of alternate energy products like solar panel and related accessories
  • Import and distribution of construction related materials like pre-engineered building
  • Non-traditional farming
  • Software Development and services

Ideal candidate will work with the company director and help formulate business strategies and plans, as well as direct, execute and coordinate all the operations. You will be the representative of the director (lives overseas).

Job Specification
  • Help setup office
  • Design interview questions, conduct interviews and recruit right people
  • Develop network with government and private sectors who have stake in alternate energy sector
  • Continuously look out for both industrial and retail clients. Develop clientele database
  • Negotiate contracts
  • Work with government agencies, law firms, chartered accountant, banks, etc.
  • Prepare reports
  • Basic accounting and book keeping
  • Overall office management
  • Plan and oversee farm operations and be able to arrange for, in advance, additional human or material resource

 Education and Experience

  • College degree in business administration, commerce, management or relevant field
  • Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Knowledge of business and management principles and practices
  • Knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices
  • Knowledge of project management principles and practices
  • Information technology skills

Skills

  • Project management and planning tools like Microsoft Project, Trello, Kanban or any similar tools
  • Comfortable using computer and be able to work with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, eMail, internet etc.
  • Be able to maintain company’s expense and income records and basic books of account
  • Has a 2-wheeler license and is comfortable driving motor bikes.
