Job Description
Sales Target Achievement:
Supervise and drive the sales team to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Ensure all team members follow daily visit plans, sales call processes, and lead conversion guidelines.
Market Development:
Identify and tap into new sales opportunities, including unexplored areas and untapped customer segments.
Assist in expanding the retail footprint by onboarding new retailers and improving distributor performance.
Team Supervision & Training:
Conduct regular meetings with the sales team to review performance and address any challenges.
Provide on-the-job training and coaching to improve product knowledge, selling techniques, and customer interaction skills.
Field & Market Activities:
Perform regular field visits with team members across assigned territories to ensure in-market execution.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, promotional offers, and submit actionable insights to management.
Customer Relationship Management:
Maintain strong relationships with key distributors, wholesalers, and high-volume retailers.
Ensure excellent post-sale service and resolve issues such as delivery problems or product complaints promptly.
Sales Reporting & Feedback:
Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports.
Collaborate with the sales manager to forecast demand, identify trends, and plan inventory requirements.

Key Requirements:
Industry Knowledge:
Strong understanding of dairy products, customer buying patterns, and distribution structures in the FMCG sector.Sales & Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven experience in sales pitching, closing deals, and resolving client issues.Team Management:
Ability to lead, train, and motivate sales staff to perform under pressure and meet targets consistently.Analytical Skills:
Capable of analyzing sales data, market feedback, and competitor activities to develop strategic responses.Mobility:
Must own a two-wheeler with a valid driving license to facilitate frequent market visits.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of field sales or supervisory experience in the FMCG industry, preferably in dairy.
Familiarity with local geography and distribution networks.
