Job Description

We are looking for a strategic and dynamic Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive growth, build partnerships, and expand our client base in the education sector. The ideal candidate will be results-driven, relationship-focused, and experienced in B2B sales,especially in IT or educational solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the education sector (schools, colleges, educational institutions).
- PromoteE-Digital Nepal services through strategic marketing and networking.
- Develop and execute business development plans aligned with company growth goals.
- Conduct client meetings, product demonstrations, and requirement analysis.
- Negotiate contracts, close deals, and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Implementation, Support) to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery.
- Monitor market trends and competitors to suggest service enhancements.
- Prepare reports on business activities, sales pipelines, and forecast performance.
- Represent the company in seminars, expos, and education-related events.
- Train and mentor junior sales team members if required.
Job Specification
Education:
- Master’s degree preferred (MBA is a plus)
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, business development, or client acquisition, preferably in IT, software, or educational services
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing client relationships
Skills & Competencies:
- Sales Skills:Strong understanding of B2B sales, lead generation, and client management
- Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication in Nepali and English
- Strategic Thinking:Able to plan and execute business expansion strategies
- Technical Understanding:Knowledge of ERP software and the education industry
- Negotiation:Skilled in proposal development, pricing, and deal closure
- Networking:Ability to build professional relationships and partnerships
- Analytical Thinking:Can interpret market trends and customer data for decision-making
- Leadership:Self-motivated and able to lead or collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Adaptability:Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving tech environment
Working Hours:
- Sunday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Field visits as necessary)
