Job Description
Desire Nepal Treks Travel and Tours is looking for an experienced Ticketing Manager to oversee our ticketing operations and ensure seamless travel bookings for our clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of global distribution systems (GDS), international and domestic ticketing, and team management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily ticketing and reservation operations for domestic and international travel.
- Use GDS systems (Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo) for ticketing, reissues, refunds, and cancellations.
- Handle group bookings and perform accurate fare calculations.
- Ensure high-quality customer service and effective communication with clients.
- Supervise and manage the ticketing team to ensure smooth operations.
- Solve ticketing-related issues and provide timely solutions.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with airline and travel regulations.
- Flexible to work in shifts as required to meet operational needs.
Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in ticketing and reservations.
- Strong knowledge of GDS systems – Sabre, Amadeus, Galileo.
- Expertise in international and domestic ticketing, reissues, refunds, and cancellations.
- Experience in group bookings and fare calculations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Flexibility to work in shifts when needed.
