Job Description
Connect Australian Education Kathmandu is currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Admissions Officer / Document Officer to join our professional team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the student application and admission process for Australian educational institutions. This position requires a deep understanding of application protocols, strong coordination skills, and a high level of accuracy in managing student documentation and institutional communication.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, meticulous, and capable of handling responsibilities with minimal supervision, while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality throughout the documentation lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately manage and process student applications, ensuring that all required documents are complete, verified, and submitted in a timely manner.
- Coordinate and communicate with Australian educational institutions regarding admissions, offer letters, and document submissions.
- Review and prepare necessary paperwork including academic transcripts, financial documents, SOPs, and other supporting materials.
- Maintain and update student records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Ensure all deadlines are met and follow-ups are conducted efficiently with both students and partner institutions.
- Provide support to the counselling team by preparing application files and tracking application progress.
- Stay informed on institutional requirements, course intakes, and immigration policies relevant to student documentation.
Skills & Competencies Required:
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with CRM or student management systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Specification
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (mandatory)
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in the Australian education consultancy sector
- Familiarity with admission and visa procedures for Australia is essential
