Job Description
Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Business Development Officer with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales or business development, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or related industries. The officer will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and achieving sales targets to contribute to the company's growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and client engagement.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand customer base.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Understand client needs and propose appropriate logistics solutions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize revenue.
- Track sales performance and provide regular reports to the management team.
- Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure client satisfaction.
- Attend industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to promote the company.
Job Specification
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or client management.
- Experience in the logistics or transportation industry is preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Excellent presentation and reporting skills.
- Good understanding of logistics and supply chain processes is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
- Strong networking abilities and commercial awareness.
- Must be willing to travel as per business requirements.
Remuneration:
- Base Salary: NPR 25K - 35K/month (negotiable based on experience and skill)
- Incentives: Attractive sales-based commissions/incentives — no bar for deserving candidates
